And the intense rain strikes back again! Our classes got cancelled today because of the downpour of the rain and it's literally been raining for idk, 24 hrs already? So floods everywhere again! :( I'm currently writing this blog post alone inside my pitch black room, it's only 5 in the afternoon and it feels like it's 8 in the evening already! My professor in Ecology last term, Dr. Wilfredo Licuanan (one of my favorite!!!) said that this kind of weather might be the new "normal" for the Philippine weather because of the drastic change of our climate. It's pretty sad since there are a lot of people who are affected by this, families whose houses are located in low areas and also those who even has none., But needless to say, these floods are happening because there's nothing to sip the water anymore.. There are less plants and trees, however more establishments and cemented places. Ok, I know I look super affected about this one, but last term because of Ecology, I developed this "attention" and "care" to what's happening to our climate and environment. I can say I am lucky to be a part of a class under Dr. Licuanan. Usually I would just stop then stare and go on with my life without caring about our crazy environment.
Let's just keep praying to God that this rain would stop already and that this would be the last one for this year (or should I say for a reaaaally long time) :( Anything works in prayer, tested and proven! :)
I really like how this outfit turned out to be edgy! I was just originally going for a chill outfit. This reminds me of Rihanna! I recently developed likeness for her ever since I heard her sing Diamonds on The Victoria's Secret Fashion show. Hearing her sing made me want to pursue a singing career lol I'm thinking of repeating it again since I'm not usually seen in an edgy chic outfit. Some of my friends have branded me as very girly and I think this is kind of the opposite.
I love how my hair sometimes appear to be brown and black on my photos, I have my mom's genes to thank for it!
Ok first, hi pata legs! hahaha I super love the details of these shorts, which I bought without really thinking! LOL, In instantly fell in love with the beads on it that's why I quickly got it right away! Don't you love my spiked bracelet from Edge Co? I'm nuts over it! I feel like incorporating it with all of my outfits because it gives this added glam. Edge Co has so many pretty accessories, go check them out :)
I have a thing for stuff that are sparkly.. I still have dresses which I haven't worn that look like disco balls. I'm still waiting for the right time when I can wear them so I can share it with you guys how I will style it :)
Top: Terranova Shorts: Bershka Bracelet: Edge Co Heels: People are People Necklace: Forever 21
I wish I can wear heels like this everyday. It's empowering and elongates my short legs :( lol
Anyway, hope you are having a good evening! Keep dry and stay safe
I went to school today for our Microbiology make-up class and I wanted to make the most out of it by wearing a skirt (since, well you know my thing about laboratory classes). I really enjoy our school the most every summer term and fridays, 'cause usually most of the people in our school don't have classes. Not that I don't like most people of my school to the point where I don't want them to go to school anymore, But.. well it's just that, I think one would really appreciate the cleanliness of our school , despite the fact that it's along the polluted kingdom of Taft Avenue. It's really relaxing there and you'll always feel this sea breeze that makes you relaxed (despite having terror professors lol) when you're at Henry Sy Bldg, walking along the grasses or just simply sitting on the benches there (for my co-sleepyheads, it's not embarrassing to sleep anywhere lol). However, I didn't to enjoy these two things that I am most fond of today. The sea breeze (along with rain) was making my skirt fly like a flag up in the air, plus I wasn't wearing any scrunchie so my hair was also all over my face! I couldn't see the pathways and I didn't know what to hold first, my hair or my flying skirt. And to make it all much much much much much much worse, I was commuting. That was the very first time I felt the hassle of wearing a skirt while commuting and it's really disappointing.
But anyway, there's always a first time for everything. All we need to do is to gear up for the succeeding surprises of life and wear cycling shorts when wearing skirts, lol. One of the most essential things for girls! Onto my outfit, this skirt was given to me as a gift by one of my dearest friends (hi Aira). She knows how I've been obsessing over skater skirts last summer, so she gave me skater skirts for my birthday. Heehee, it's always nice to know that some people cares enough to take note on what you love/like/hate. Don't you love the color of this skirt? I'm in love with it very much! It's playful and so young. Solid colors are always best to pair with prints because it can emphasize every details in an outfit. Just like in this outfit, since my skirt has a plain bold color and a neon touch to it, I paired it with an aztec print top. Both complimented each other very well :)
I wore minimal accessories since I'm really conscious about the number of accessories that I wear. I still don't know why, but I'm still trying and learning to incorporate them in my outfits. Maybe because when I put on many accessories, I feel like I may have overdone my outfit or something? I really don't know, maybe I'll figure it out next time.
Hope you liked it! by the way, listen to Sentimental Seeker by Sally Seltmann! She has very nice songs :)
So, before one of my dearest friends (and also photographer haha) Julienne goes to Japan for the Exchange Student Program she joined in, we had a photoshoot and it lasted all day long! Hahaha, it was our way of bonding since we're going to be separated (country terms) for six months! It's one of her dreams so I'm very happy for her :) However, since she's gonna be away for six months.. No more awesome photographer for me for six months :( Hahaha! [Plez kambak oreddi lol]
I went for pastel colors and covered up using a denim polo to give out a street style vibe. I wanted to street style since I've always been girly and still added "thea" touch to it by going for pastel colors. And well another is that, I wanted to match my outfit with my new flower crown hence the pink top and mint green shorts. So about the heels... I got tired of wearing it already so I just wore these Keds sneakers! Plus, most people in my village were already staring at me so, I had to minimize the stares and toned down my outfit by wearing sneaks!
Sorry about my super duper happy face! I get really giddy when I'm with friends and when trying out new things. Anyway, this is my favorite denim polo! Don't you just love the details of it at the back? Actually, this is the second appearance of it here on my blog.. And I think you'll be seeing it a lot more. Check out how I'll style it in different ways on my future posts! :)
Don't you just love my flower crown? I've been obsessing over super cute flower crowns and I'm so happy that my friend's selling super adorable ones! Follow them on instagram @littlethings_ph!! I swear I'm in love with every flower crown she creates! She customizes flower crowns too and sells affordable cute things like washi tapes, cute pens, paper maches and a lot more. Go visit her shop and get your own little things now! :)

Anyway, just something I want to share not fashion related.. It's really hard to work on something you really want to do or something that really makes you happy if you don't have the support of the most important people in your life. Right? I mean, if they can't even be happy about what you are and what you do, how will you attain the contentment that entails life long happiness? Sadness gets to you and you feel useless. I am certainly not ranting, but there's really this issue about myself and I hope that God would work on it. I'm tired of feeling bad about myself and I feel so lost every time I try to be happy.
Hope you liked it and this issue of mine would get resolved!

I know I have stated from my previous blog post that you'd always see me wearing pants because of my laboratory classes, but I just realized that I don't have lab classes every thursday! So I can totally wear skirts every Thursday :) What most girly girls love about skirts is that you can freely move around without having to pull up something and worry if it's too tight or too loose. And yes, as a girly girl, that is one of my reasons! But during this season, my main reason is that I won't have to worry about swimming in the flood whenever it rains. I know, I know, some people might say it's harder to wear skirt during rainy days, especially for commuters like me) but I actually feel the opposite. Well because, one I don't have to worry about my pants getting all wet. It's easier for the legs to get wet because it dries up faster, second I don't have to fold anything, because normally people fold their pants up to the middle of their legs so the pants don't get wet. And of course, yes because it's easier to move around. These shoes from Melissa are my bestfriends, I don't know what to do without them (esp because of our bipolar weather) it goes well with everything.
This outfit actually reminds me about doctors, because of the white cardigan. It looks like a laboratory gown.. And it's weird...because it makes me imagine of my future self when I become a doctor (hope so! hahaha) But of course, with more mature clothes since I look like a school girl in this outfit. Btw, my top looks like peplum top but it's not! I kinda tweaked it to give a more polished look and paired it up with these cute earrings which I got for only less than 100php! I love sales!! I have to be careful about what I wear to school since the guards and DO are so strict with rules :( So I'll just have to be more creative with my outfits next time without having the guards and DO to catch me.
Hope you liked it (and all the guards who'll see me in school LOL i kid)!
'til the next, thea<3

Hi guys!! I'm on top of ze world!!! Hahaha, ok. I'm just at our rooftop, as you can see in the background, it's all roofs and cemented walls. I kind of deviated away from the garden background so that my pictures would have variation. Our house is still kind of under renovation so please excuse the gray walls.
This is what I wore to school today, sooo YAY ME for posting a new outfit post! School has just started however, due to the heavy workload I have for this term, it feels like It has been a month already ever since the term started . I have 4 majors this term that is why I need to study harder and give my full attention to it, so I apologize If I haven't been posting anything for a while :(. But even if I had less than 4 majors, I would still study hard, to make my parents proud, hihihi (hi mom and dad).
Anyway about this outfit..... I've always liked pairing white with gold. It really gives this neat, classy and effortless look. If I had all the clothes in the world, this is the type of clothes you'd see me in always. I really love outfits like this, 'cause again it's clean and there's nothing much going on so most of the details are always emphasized. And of course, I did not wear these sky high heels to school! I don't have the strength to ignore all the stares I will be getting if I wear this to school, I just wore it to give life to my pictures and glam it up. Hahaha, but if I do have the strength, I so would.
This term, if I should name it, would be my "no-skirt" term since most of my classes are laboratory classes we are can't wear anything but pants, since more skin would only mean high chances of accidents. In my course, we are always dealing with these really dangerous equipments and reagents (not to mention most are pretty pricey) that's why as much as possible, we should only wear comfortable clothes. So if ever you see me in school or if ever you're reading my blog, you're always gonna see me in pants (except for Fridays 'til Sundays hihihi)
Hope you liked this post! I'll try my very best to always update. :)
It's that time again when it's raining cats and dogs all over the Philippines, and for me, this year the rain has been reaaaalllly bipolar. Yesterday, every after 5 minutes, the rain would be hard and it would turn into a drizzle and then it would rain hard again and the cycle goes on and on and on. It felt like the rain was playing with it's On/Off Switch, really weird and very hassle for a commuter like me! I can just imagine how hard commuting will be for me (and of course the others) during the next months.
Although this rain is a complete pain in the butt, of course it has its advantages. One, because I can use all of my sweaters and jackets. I looove dressing comfortably and love wearing standout pieces because honestly, I don't really have to put that much effort in dressing up anymore because I have something that could already speak out for itself.
Just like this favorite sweater of mine from Forever21, it's everything rolled into one! It's comfortable, and stand out since it's sparkly. I felt like a disco ball when I wore it since it attracted so many eyes! Hahaha, it's so funny because I think it's too sparkly that it draws people's eyes... But I love it very much, I'm cray about shiny stuff! I didn't put accessories anymore because I think it would be over the top already.
This is the second time I wore this (since its sequins are just too delicate and I wanna let it live longer inside my closet) and this time, I paired this with boots! Second reason why I love rainy days is that I could actually wear boots without people having to mentally kill me with their judgmental stares.. Hahaha! Kidding. But seriously... I just get so intimidated of the stares and let it drop even more my low self-esteem. LOL, gotta work on that one!

Denim Polo: Topshop Tank Top: Hollister Pants: Terranova Heels: Bershka
You guys are probably wondering why the title is "let's go to sleep".. Well, it's because of my pants! It reminds me so much of the the PJ's we use during bedtime and it is soooooo unbelievably comfortable. Swear, this has been the comfiest pants I have ever worn in my entire life. Usually I have problems with the normal jeans/pants that I wear, 'cause usually it doesn't fit right, it's too long, too fit along my thigh area.. Those kind of problems? I'm sure you guys are with me on this? hahaha!
But even though it's so comfy, I was hesitating to buy this when I saw it on the rack because I was scared it wouldn't fit nicely or it wouldn't look good on me. But when I tried it with these heels from Bershka, wow! It totally made a new impression to me and I think I'll buy one again. Heels really do wonders to any kind of outfit. With heels, everything can go from dull to glamorous! Especially with this kind of pants and if you're not that tall (I only stand 5'1 ft tall :( ) it's better to wear it with heels so that you wouldn't look too short :)
About the denim polo, I used this denim polo just to cover my arms... again. But denim polo's really a good cover up for any outfit, it's really nice to invest on good denim polos because you can goooo a looong way with it + it kinda goes very well to any outfit! Although, I will probably start wearing sleeveless tops without hesitation when my arms get thin already? Hahaha, promise to work on that and be more creative with my tops! :)
Today marks the 2nd term for us Lasallians, and I'm already stressed about school. Fixing up your own schedule can give you the power to choose how your life's going to be for the whole term, you may opt for what they call a "chill" term or a "hassle" term.. But as for me, I think the world wants me to really give all my time for academics since my schedule was never chill! Well there was one chill term, but every term is hassle for me :( But I guess this is one of the many side effects of majoring in Biology, I need to give every bit of me for this course, and I will finish it and go to med school, ha! Positive energy only, kill all of ze negative vibes!
Jumper: Topshop Button Down: Bershka Earrings: Forever 21 Shoes: SM Department Store
Anyway, about this outfit.. people have really different opinions about this jumper. Some people thought it was so cute, some people got annoyed :( *Ehem, hi Joyce!* But I LOOOOVE this jumper!! I've always been a fan of jumpers and I'm so happy I bought this.
I paired this up with a floral button down and loafers. My friend Julienne, said it reminded her of a farm girl.. and I was really going for that! Hahaha, I really like the farm girls in old animes, like Anne of the Green Gables and i think I saw Judy Abbott had the same outfit in the Daddy Long Legs animation? Oops, am I talking historical figures now? Hahaha, as a kid, I loved those shows! Well clearly it was really the only shows on TV but.. They were great, right? :( Hahaha!
